Burja Haveli (Mansion) – Heritage Hotel “Get the real feel of Rajasthan”

Feeling to get away from fast city life for taking a weekend break? Or ever wished to experience a relaxing life of Royal for different experience in your life? Then opt for this Heriatge Hotel at Alwar, Rajasthan in India. I wanted to try a Heritage hotel for my next trip so after some research I get to know about a transformed old Haveli which is now been converted into a Heritage hotel. So finalized my stay at Burja Haveli which is situated at small village named Burja in Alwar. Its a 240 years old haveli (Mansion), which is strongly built and presents an ethnic look with a traditional Rajasthani architecture.

If you are planning to come along with family or friends then this place is best for a memorable time. Rooms are spacious with all modern amenities. I took a room at ground floor opposite to Restaurant, although they offer cottages as well which are on the other side of the Haveli.

The place is quite and peaceful for quality time offering Restaurant with good food which serves Bajra ki roti and live bread making during Dinner time by local villagers.

Restaurant interiors walls. Loved the design and decoration.
Common area at the center of Haveli.
Tree House offering unique experience for stay.
Rajasthani Paintings on the exterior walls at entrance.

If you wish to soak in yourself in cool water then take a dip in swimming pool and relax. Along with it they offer a tree house as well which is a bit tiny as compared to other rooms but the experience would be different.

A friendly kitty outside my room. Isn’t shes cute and calm? 🙂
