Tangy Tomato Beans with potato chips

Green vegetable is considered best for overall good health and one of my favourites is Green beans. This time I made tangy tomato Green beans (French beans) which are rich in Vitamin C & K and thought to share this quick recipe with readers which is tasty and nutritious.

Serving size: 2


  • Green beans (20 sticks)
  • Onion (2)
  • Tomato (2)
  • Potato (1)
  • Garlic (4)
  • Turmeric (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Cumin (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Mustard or olive oil (3 teaspoon)
  • Salt as per taste



Step 1: Cut Green bean sticks in small parts, slice Onions and Chop Tomatos and Potato.

Step 2: Put some Mustard or olive oil in the Pan over light flame.

Step 3: Once the oil is heated up now put some cumin, sliced onion, potato and garlic into the Pan and fry till onions turn golden brown.



Step 4: Once the onions are fried add and Beans into the Pan and add salt into it. Mix the veggies and cook over 10 mns with lid over the Pan (to soften the Beans in heat)


Step 5: After the Beans and Potatos have soften now add chopped Tomatoes into it alongwith Turmeric and Coriander powder. Mix all the veggies thoroughly before putting the lid and wait for 10 mns.



Step 6: Once the spices are soaked into the veggies and tomatos gets soften after 10 mns, open the lid and mix the veggies evenly. Cook and keep rotating veggies inside pan for over 5 mns.


Your Tangy Tomato Green beans are ready to be served hot.


Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with potato chips or with Chapati.
